Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) picked Let’s Go Beyond as their jargon, continuing their effort to be one step further beyond their competitors. Established in 1973, the Company is known as an automotive company for four-wheel vehicles or more with the best reputation in Indonesia according to Corporate Image Award. With principles such as Continuous Improvement and Respect for People, TAM broaden their aim from middle to upper class segments. TAM wished to seize the market attention, putting their website as the dominant marketing tool. That being said, TAM teamed-up with SAMCGI to create target-appealing marketing tools.
Toyota Move Mobile Application
Albeit gaining successes in marketing their products, TAM was not one to count their eggs before they hatch. Through the Toyota Move website, together with SAMCGI, TAM designed the concept and executed the Toyota Move mobile application for Toyota users. Users are indulged with features in the form of information regarding places such as gas stations, ATMs, workshops, driving tips, and real time traffic information.
Toyota Move app makes it easier for Toyota users to tend to their vehicles with personal features such as vehicle service record. Furthermore, social media users are able to update their Facebook and Twitter status straight from their Toyota Move app.
TAM Corporate Website
TAM wished to redesign their website to increase the awareness and netizen loyalty in Toyota website, taking into account their goal to educate and service the customers. Coincident with Etios Valco launch, TAM worked with SAMCGI to create Toyota website and a microsite for Etios Valco.
For the concept, SAMCGI put a modern twist by enabling a finer user interface with 360° view as well as finer user experience – all on top of a simple and dynamic design. The result was outstanding. The number of website visitor skyrocketed with 88.3% increase, boosting the sales in Toyota dealers.
Toyota Move Head Unit Application
Having similar functions as the mobile version of Toyota Move, Toyota Move Head Unit is applied on Toyota vehicles’ Head Unit and can be synchronized with other gadgets. SAMCGI conveyed a catchy design that is suitable for all ages, yet implementing the easy life style-concept to adjust the need of the youth segments.
Aside from the unique features that are in-line with the mobile version of Toyota Move, the Toyota Move Head Unit is equipped with Eco Driving feature to ensure the users are driving effectively, minimizing the environmental pollution.
Toyota Internet-Based Lead Management
To better understand the characteristic of potential buyers and to improve services, TAM worked with SAMCGI to create Toyota Internet Lead Management application. This application allows TAM to manage big data, from collecting potential buyer’s preferences to measuring customer service performance of Toyota dealers across Indonesia.
This application enables TAM dealers to effectively target potential buyers. It also helps to increase Toyota sales by 26% in 2015.
Digital Marketing Awards 2015
Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) has successfully earned the title as an automotive company that owns The Best Corporate Website in Indonesia. Held by Frontiers Consulting Group, the awards were given to companies that have effectively implemented digital marketing as a part of their marketing activities. The awards were presented during the Digital Marketing Awards event in 2015.
